Our overall goal and objective is to bring people back to the downtown district. It creates a sense of place for the community.
Key Objectives
- Improving community support through community events and public awareness
- Implementing necessary changes to a distressed area
- Retaining current businesses and providing an inviting area for new business development
- To foster an economically healthy commercial district that is vibrant, walk able, clean, safe, and sustainable.
- Continually provide support to the local government on ways to implement these strategies
The MPA will promote and assist in implementing the strategies necessary for success in these key objectives. Each committee represents a point within the revitalization program. All goals and objectives link back to the overall goal and objective of bringing people back to the downtown.
